Mississippi Do-Not-Call List
State DNC registry requirements for Mississippi
Mississippi does not maintain a separate state DNC list. Scrubbing the federal National DNC Registry at donotcall.gov is sufficient for state compliance.
National Do Not Call Registry (Mississippi uses federal list)
Covers
Mississippi does NOT maintain a separate state Do Not Call list — the federal NDNC Registry is the only list telemarketers must scrub against. Mississippi DOES require telemarketer registration with the state before commencing business. The state has B2B exemptions and established business relationship exemptions. Mississippi also has restricted calling dates around state holidays. Enforcement is handled through the Mississippi Attorney General's Office and Secretary of State. First 5 area codes are free through the FTC portal.
Federal National DNC Registry (Always Required)
You must scrub the federal list regardless of whether Mississippi has its own list. There is no opt-out from federal DNC compliance.
