Overview
Mississippi has no state mini-TCPA and no state telemarketing registration requirement. The Mississippi Consumer Protection Act (Miss. Code Ann. § 75-24-1 et seq.) provides the AG with enforcement authority over deceptive telemarketing practices, but there is no standalone telemarketing statute, no state DNC list, and no private right of action for telemarketing calls. Federal TCPA and TSR are the primary compliance framework. Mississippi is one of the more permissive states for telemarketing — but federal rules still apply in full.
