Idaho Do-Not-Call List
State DNC registry requirements for Idaho
Idaho does not maintain a separate state DNC list. Scrubbing the federal National DNC Registry at donotcall.gov is sufficient for state compliance.
National Do Not Call Registry (Idaho uses federal list)
Covers
Idaho does NOT maintain a separate state Do Not Call list — the federal National DNC Registry is the only list telemarketers must scrub against. Idaho DOES require telemarketer registration with the state at least 10 days before transacting business. Idaho defines registrants as "telephone solicitors" or "telephone soliciting businesses." Exemptions exist for established business relationships, prior permission/inquiry, and B2B calls. Enforcement is handled through the Idaho Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. First 5 area codes are free through the FTC portal.
Federal National DNC Registry (Always Required)
You must scrub the federal list regardless of whether Idaho has its own list. There is no opt-out from federal DNC compliance.
