Colorado Do-Not-Call List
State DNC registry requirements for Colorado
You must scrub against BOTH the federal National DNC Registry AND the Colorado state DNC list before making calls in this state. Scrubbing only the federal list is not sufficient.
Colorado No-Call List
Covers
Colorado maintains a SEPARATE state No-Call List administered by the PUC through its designated agent, Data Protection Group LLC. Over 2.7 million Coloradans are registered. Telemarketers face a DUAL registration requirement: (1) Register with the Colorado AG ($200 initial, $100 annual renewal) and (2) Register with the Colorado No-Call program via ColoradoNoCall.com. No-Call List registration fees are annual, based on total company employee count, ranging from $0 to $500. Penalties include actual damages, statutory damages up to $500 per violation, and attorney fees. Consumers register for free online at ColoradoNoCall.com or by calling 303-776-2678 / 800-309-7041. Must scrub against BOTH the state list and the federal NDNC.
Federal National DNC Registry (Always Required)
You must scrub the federal list regardless of whether Colorado has its own list. There is no opt-out from federal DNC compliance.
