Montana DOES require telemarketer registration before commencing business in the state (no advance timeframe specified). Registration applies to "telemarketing sellers or businesses." Montana has B2B and established business relationship exemptions. Enforcement is through the Montana Attorney General's Office, Office of Consumer Protection. First 5 area codes are free through the FTC portal.
