Missouri Do-Not-Call List
State DNC registry requirements for Missouri
You must scrub against BOTH the federal National DNC Registry AND the Missouri state DNC list before making calls in this state. Scrubbing only the federal list is not sufficient.
Missouri No-Call List
Covers
Missouri maintains its own state No-Call list administered by the Attorney General's Office. The No-Call law applies to residential and personal cell phone numbers owned by Missouri residents. Consumer registration is free and numbers remain on the list indefinitely unless removed by the consumer or disconnected. The law also covers SMS and MMS text messages. No state telemarketer registration requirement exists per some compliance sources. Quarterly updates are sent to telemarketers. Exemptions: existing business relationship, not-for-profit groups (member callers), calls with express permission, political and charitable organizations. Permitted hours: 8am-9pm. Penalties: up to $5,000 per violation, injunctions, and potential criminal charges. Complaint line: (866) 662-2551.
Federal National DNC Registry (Always Required)
You must scrub the federal list regardless of whether Missouri has its own list. There is no opt-out from federal DNC compliance.
