Nevada Do-Not-Call List
State DNC registry requirements for Nevada
You must scrub against BOTH the federal National DNC Registry AND the Nevada state DNC list before making calls in this state. Scrubbing only the federal list is not sufficient.
Nevada Do Not Call Registry
Covers
Nevada has a somewhat complex DNC landscape. The Nevada AG administers a Telemarketing No Call List (registration at dncr.nv.gov or 1-888-434-6277) covering certain industries (insurance, real estate, finance). Signing up for the federal DNC automatically places consumers on Nevada's list. Under NRS 599B, telemarketers must register with the Secretary of State and pay a registration fee (up to $50). A $50,000 bond or letter of credit is required. Telemarketers must maintain internal DNC lists compliant with state and federal law. Permitted hours: 8am-9pm. Penalties: state fines from $100 to $25,000 per violation; federal TSR penalties up to $43,792 per call. May also need a local business license depending on location.
Federal National DNC Registry (Always Required)
You must scrub the federal list regardless of whether Nevada has its own list. There is no opt-out from federal DNC compliance.
